Well, where do I start, how about the beginning……..I first met Jason a few years ago whilst doing some part time work for Toyota in Lowestoft, we used to work together for one of the two days I was filling in for days off, we got along straight away and always had a bit of banter regarding our football teams. I’m sure he got fed up listening to me constantly going on about my Wedding DJ business and constantly showing photos of my work. Along with Justine they decided to book me for their forthcoming wedding, so after a few initial meetings, various drinks and messages we were suddenly ready for the big day, I’ll always remember Jason saying to me that whatever happens all he wanted was for Justine to have ‘THE BEST DAY OF HER LIFE’……well he certainly gave her that, what a day!
I arrived about 10.30am to set up after collecting dry ice ready for the evening, after setting up and stepping back I certainly felt a sense of achievement from how the overall effect looked, it was clean contemporary and very fresh looking. Justine had chosen Midnight Blue as a colour scheme that I was able to match the lighting to along with the full white wedding set-up, they also had a personalised Gobo Monogram light designed and made for them which looked fantastic on the exposed brickwork of the Great Barn Hales Hall.
So onto the moment everyone had waited for, the First Dance, the chosen song was Kodaline – The One, lovely track and something that meant a lot to the pair of them, they entered the dance floor to rapturous applause and cheering, the song started which was then the prompt for the fantastic effect of ‘Dancing On The Clouds’ you literally could see people’s jaws drop with amazement at what they were watching, it looked amazing, then halfway through the first dance came another unexpected surprise, the confetti explosion a brilliant photo opportunity, second dance they had all the friends & family join them on the floor to continue dancing on more clouds.
This was one wedding I’ll NEVER forget.Share this:
